In a press release signed by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Arc Samuel Nanchang Jatau, FNIA, dated 22nd March, 2024, the Committee is headed by Air Commodore Rwang Pam Christopher (Rtd) while Brig. Gen John Sunday Sura (Rtd) is the Secretary of the Committee.
“His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Barr Caleb M. Mutfwang, has approved the Constitution of a Task force for Resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Plateau State” said Arc Jatau
The government’s scribe also listed those appointed into the Committee to include Representatives of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jamatul Nasir Islam (JNI), Mangu, Bokkos, Barkin Ladi, Riyom and Bassa LGAs. Others are Representatives of the Army, Police, DSS, Civil Defence, CSO and NUJ. The Traditional Institution on the Plateau is also included in the list
