The well respected Chairman of the Central Planning Committee for ilum O’Tarok 2025, the cultural day of the famous Tarok people predominantly known for their bravery, fearlessness and hardwork, Dr Amos Bulus Cirfat simply abbreviated as Dr ABC has assured the Tarok nation that the committee under his stewardship shall seek to surpass the efforts and successes recorded by his predecessors who have diligently served in the same committee
The immediate past Provost of Federal College of Education, gave the reassurance shortly after he was inaugurated and presented with his letter of appointment
Dr Cirfat while accepting the huge responsibility said, “It gives me a great pleasure to welcome the National President Ngwan Ishi O’Taroh Development Association (NIODA) World Wide Amb. Danjuma Nanpon Sheni, the Board of Trustees (BOT), NIODA Executive Council and Members of the Central Working Committee (CWC).”
“On behalf of over 50 CPC Tarok sons and daughters who were pencilled for the task of organizing 2025 Taroh cultural day being inaugurated today, we say thank you for finding us worthy to be entrusted with this big responsibility.”
“From the list one could see that some were selected on their own merit, while others are statutory by the various offices they hold in Taroh Associations and representatives of relevant groups of Taroh Nation.”
“No doubt that this cream of esteemed members will put their best in actualizing the desire of Taroh Nation for a successful 2025 NIODA day.”
He paid glowing tributes to those that have contributed their quota in the past including two deceased heros of Tarok nation “It is on records that some personalities here had been Central Planning Committee and Sub-Committees members years back and some are new. For my humble self I have worked with two Chairmen in the likes of Late General Nanzip Shagaya and Hilter Dadi with other members with some of blessed memory. I say here may their souls Rest in Peace. Last year I was privileged to be a member of the Contact Sub-Committee.”
The erudite scholar solicited for cooperation “To my fellow CPC members, I pray that I will receive the greatest cooperation from you all to do the needful. While some of us are retired personnel in different works of life, others are still in active service, I urge you to bring your experience to bear.”
He declared that “To me this call is for selfless service that will require a lot of sacrifice on our part for our father land. You may have to sacrifice your expertise, energy, time and resources for the success of this programme.”
According to www.pointblank.com.ng, Dr Cirfat reassured that “If for any reason we cannot improve from the last years programme at worst we should maintain the tempo and nothing less, this is my appeal to you.”
“In conclusion, we pray that we will get the needed support from the President NIODA World Wide and his team, the traditional rulers, the Local Government Councils, Chairmen and the entire Tarok stakeholders in Nigeria and in diaspora as well”, concluded Dr Cirfat
