Kaduna State governor, H.E Uba Sani has ordered the immediate suspension of levy collection by the management of Kaduna State University (KASU), www.pointblank.com.ng can authoritatively report.
In a statement by the Governor’s spokesman, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, dated today, 12th February, 2024, the governor said that “the collection of levies negates the state government’s downdard review of the extant fees regime announced in 22023”
Gov Sani according to Shehu, stressed that the “implementation to cushion the effects of the general rising cost of living in the polity, especially in the wake of the petroleum subsidy removal”. He continued that “the Kaduna State Government is committed to ameliorating the suffering of the people. It will continue to initiate policies, programmes and projects to bring succour to the poor, underserved and the vulnerable”
