The most prominent Secondary School Alma Mater on the Plateau and indeed, Nigeria, Kuru Old Students Association (KOSA) has congratulated its members appointed by Governor Caleb M. Mutfwang of Plateau State into various offices. KOSA are graduates of the disciplined and hardworking Government Science School, Kuru.
In a statement exclusively made available to www.pointblank.com.ng today 15th February, 2024, the National Publicity Secretary of the distinguished association, Rwang Weng Abubakar on behalf of Dr Musa Wen Ibrahim, KOSA National President charges them to be led by the “guiding star” in Kuru Anthem. And as “Boys of Kuru”, they should bring to bear the “disciple and hardwork” acquired in Kuru.

The Kipiyan Arewa as Weng is fondly called said” Hon Yiljab Abraham of class ’80, your appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor on Policy and Governance is a testament to your exemplary leadership and commitment to public service. We are confident that your expertise and dedication will greatly contribute to the development and implementation of sound policies for the betterment of our state”.
To “Hon. Wokdung Abbas of class ’92, your appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment and Sanitation is a testament to your dedication to service to the people, your expertise and passion for environmental sustainability will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the development and implementation of policies aimed at improving our state’s environmental health”.
The prestigious association also charges “Pharmacist Kim Jerry Bot of class ’02, your selection as the Director General of Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management reflects your outstanding contributions to the healthcare sector. Your passion for improving access to quality medical supplies will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the well-being of our citizens”.
Similarly, “Hon Samuel Success Dapiya of class ’04, as the newly appointed Director General of Plateau State Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA), your leadership will play a crucial role in preserving and enhancing our environment. Your commitment to sustainability and sanitation will help create a healthier and cleaner environment for generations to come”.
