Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has sent waves of joy, jubilation and excitement across the length and breadth of the State by “graciously” approving the recall of workers in the main stream civil service whose employment were suspended.
Governor Mutfwang granted the approval in a press release signed by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Arc Samuel Nanchang Jatau, FNIA on Wednesday, 21st February, 2024.
Arc Jatau said “following the completion of the assignment of the Implementation Committee on the White Paper Report on the Employment conducted at the twilight of immediate past administration, His Excellency Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang in addition to the waiver earlier granted to some few MDAs, grants approval for:
“The immediate resumption of work by the remaining newly employed workers whose employment were put on hold”. The government scribe’s listed 42 Ministry, Departments and Agencies with a total of 3879 workforce as beneficiaries.
The Caleb of Plateau, and the Manasseh of his people, also ordered the immediate completion of employment exercise in Plateau State Fire Service, Community and Social Development Agency, Office of the Secretary of the Government of the State.
Others include, Teachers Service Commission, Ministry of Transport and Government House
The governor also nullified the employment in ALL Tertiary Institutions, however, he also graciously approved the immediate commencement of fresh recruitment in all the Tertiary Institutions.
