END BAD GOVERNANCE PROTEST: PRESIDENT TINUBU TO ADDRESS THE NATION ON SUNDAY

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will on Sunday, 4th August, 2024 address the nation in an attempt to address the nationwide protest organized by Nigerian Youths to END BAD GOVERNANCE.

In a press release issued on Saturday, 3rd August, 2024 in the evening, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) said “President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am”.

he added that “Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast”.

“The broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day”.

It would be recalled that Nigerian youth embarked on nationwide protest against bad governance that has brought untold hardship on the nation. They youths amongst many demands are asking for the reinstatement of petrol subsidy which was removed by President Tinubu in his inaugural speech on May, 29th 2023 when he took over power
