The Entire Government Teacher College Langtang Old Students Association (GTCLOSA) basking in the euphoria of excitement following and in a show of profound gratitude following the appointment of Dr Clement Selchum Chirman as the Acting Rector, Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi has paid a courtesy call on the Rector.
In a statement signed by Comrade Zingkur Vyapbong, Acting Chairman of the alma mater, on Friday, 28th March, 2024 in Jos, said the old Students in show of support and solidarity led by Comrade Zingkur Vyapbong congratulated Dr. Chirman describing Dr Clement Selchum Chirman’s appointment as well deserving considering his degree and in-depth knowledge of the Polytechnic where he has been meritoriously serving with zeal and total commitment since 1999

Responding with inexplicable joy while receiving his former school mates in his office at Heipang, Barkin Ladi, Dr Clement Selchum Chirman, Acting Rector, flanked by the Management team, expressed deep gratitude to the Association. He said their visit didn’t only serve to strengthen the old bonds of friendship created since their school days but a visit that has energized him, reminding him of the number of work he has to work assiduously hard never to disappoint.
Dr Clement Selchum Chirman while thanking His Excellency Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for the rare opportunity to serve promised to return the once famous Polytechnic to it’s enviable heights.
In a symbolic gesture that rekindles sweet old memories and reaffirmed the unbreakable cord of friendship, a congratulatory gift was presented to the Ag Rector by the pioneer Old Student, Hon. Yahuza Yusuf.
In a brief remarks before the presentation, Hon Yusuf further expressed gratitude & thanked His Excellency Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang Executive Governor of Plateau State for finding one of their own worthy to serve as the acting Rector of Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi.
