Hon Dr Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, Chairman Plateau Plateau State Football Association, PFA on Saturday, 27 April, 2024 led the Executive Board, Stakeholders and Football Family to the wedding solemnization of Innocent Asama, son of Hon Daniel Asama. Hon Asama is the Chairman of Bassa Local Government Football Association and Current Member representing the good people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency
Hon Dr Kwande, himself a two member representing the same constituency Hon Asama is representing celebrated with the couple and called on them to make God the centre of their home.
The longest serving NFF Board member who has been overseeing rapid revamping and revitalization of football on the Plateau also charged the couple to show true love to each other and always be eager to apologize and forgive each other either the person is at fault or not.
Held at the ECWA Headquarters, Jos, the auspicious occasion saw the State’s football supremo reconnecting with all friends and family, and members of the current 10th Assembly
The workaholic Chairman emerged from the wedding and headed straight to New Jos International Stadium, where he offered moral support to Mighty Jets International as they took on Yobe Deserts in their last match of the NNL season. The match ended in a one all draw. The match which was mere formality because the Jos based team had already confirmed its status in the NNL for next season, however saw great football artistry displayed to the admiration of the fans.
