PFA FA CUP SEMI-FINAL HEATS UP AS PERENNIAL RIVALS FACE OFF IN AN ALL DERBY AFFAIRS.

The battle of who gets into the final of the 2024 Plateau State Football Association’s FA Cup takes center stage on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, with two semi-final matches going down.

The two titanic clashes which promise to hold fans spell bound have old derby rivals squaring up against each other. Basking in the euphoria of a record breaking attendance for a single match in Nigeria on Sunday when Akwa United visited Plateau United, the iconic New Jos International Stadium shall play host to the two matches at 2 and 4pm respectively.

Ben Akwuegbu will attempt to compound the woes of Plateau United who are yet to taste a victory in their last two NPFL matches with an upset against defending Champions and favourites Plateau United. It will be all Jets affairs as NNL side Mighty Jets International confront it’s feeders team, Mighty Jets Feeders, in a replay of last season’s semi final battle that eventually went to penalties where the senior Jets stamped their authority on the match and progressed to lose against Plateau United in the finals.

To get to this stage Ben Akwuegbu fc beat Propel Sporting Academy 2-1, while Jets Feeders moved past AC Midlands fc 1-0 to book her place in the last four.

Plateau United and Mighty Jets International were drawn bye in the quarter final stage.

With the boys separated from the men, the battle of who goes home with 2024 Plateau State Football Association FA cup has just begun.
