Tarok Progressive Youth Association (TAPYA), the umbrella body of Tarok Youths Worldwide has extended its warmest birthday wishes to the dual National President of Ngwang Ishi O’Tarok (NIO) and Plateau Initiative for the Development and Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN), the socio-cultural economic development associations of the Tarok people and Plateau State respectively
Comrade Changwak Changde Dashe, the National Publicity Secretary of TAPYA on behalf of the National President of TAPYA, Amb. Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N) in a press release made available to www.pointblank.com.ng, titled “Special Birthday Wishes To The Dual National President of Ngwang Ishi O’Tarok (NIO) and Plateau Initiative for the Development and Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN), Amb. Danjuma Nanpon Sheni” quoted the TAPYA President as saying “On behalf of myself, the National and District Executives and the entire Tarok youths worldwide, I extend our best wishes to you our National President, Ngwang Ishi O’Tarok and Plateau Initiative for the Development and Advancement of the Native, the umbrella bodies of the development associations of the Tarok and Plateau State respectively, Amb D.N Sheni on your birthday today, 19th November, 2024”.
According to Comrade CC Dashe, the TAPYA National President extolled the virtues of Amb Sheni “You are a man of vision and creativity, your exceptional contributions for the advancement of our land and the state have been noteworthy”.
“For the over three years of your tenure as the President of NIO, ilum O’Tarok has consistently been celebrated, the proposed Tarok University is also the brain child of your administration. Though still at the conceptualization stage, it is our honest prayers that God gives the wisdom to bring it into fruition Institution”
The statement recalls with nostalgia the ascension of Amb. Sheni to PIDAN Presidency and the efforts he has made so far. “Exactly a month ago (19th October, 2024) you took the oath of office as the National President of 𝐏𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐍 and have conceived the idea of celebrating Plateau Cultural Carnival to preserve and protect our heritage”.
Comrade CC Dashe continued that “this special day that coincides with International Men’s Day offers us an opportunity to thank you for your contributions to the development of our land though alot more needs to be done”
“I pray God Almighty gives you good sound health, strength, grace for more creativity and greater wisdom for more service to your family, the Tarok nation and to Plateau State. Happy birthday Dual President General”.

In a related development, TAPYA also salutes the sacrifices of men and calls for resilience as the world celebrates International Men’s Day. Comr Dashe said “It is an open secret that the economic realities are not friendly particularly that of our dear nation, Nigeria. As we celebrate this International Men’s Day, we pray for patience, tolerance, sacrifice and resilience as we navigate the hardship”.
He concluded that “God created us men because he knows at a trying moment like this, we can lift the burdens of our respective families and still emerge stronger. Happy Men’s Day”
