Tarok Progressive Youths Association, TAPYA, the umbrella body of Tarok Youths World Wide, has expressed her profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for finding one of the illustrious sons of Tarok nation worthy of appointment as the Rector of Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi.
In a statement by the Association’s National Organizing Secretary, Comrade Selbol Yah Lashal on behalf of the President, Comrade Loknan Samson, dated Saturday 10th February, 2024, the Youth Association said “Tarok Youths wish to unequivocally express her immense thanks to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for the appointment of Dr Clement Selchum Chirman as Rector, Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi”.
“Your Excellency sir, words are grossly inadequate for us to thank you for appointing a round peg in a round hole” continued the statement. Comrade Lashal said “Dr Chirman, a two term Chairman of ASUP in the institution and former National Publicity Secretary of ASUP is the best person the institution needs right now to return it to enviable heights”
The association pledges her total support to the government of Barr Mutfwang and wishes Dr Chirman the very best in his new assignment while charging him to be a very good ambassador of Tarok nation
Dr Chirman was appointed Ag. Rector Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi this week and has since taken over the affairs of the prestigious institution with the promise to bring to fore his wealth of experience
