It is no gainsaying that plateau was before now a ghost land faced with chequered leadership doldrums and challenges as a result of unprepared and insensitive apprentice leaders that presided over the affairs of plateau in the past, as a result , the search for a governor who will radically, and very responsively transform plateau state to join the comity of good governed states became imperative.
In this light, a Caleb mutfwang, an erudite of the law and a man who has bequeathed himself with vasts knowledge on leadership selflessly volunteered to lead that great plateau voyage, taking recourse to his untapped intellectual prowess, contacts, unrivalled morale discipline, acceptability and sincere intentions to turn around the fortunes of plateau as a state.
Considering how backward plateau was then, the leadership of plateau state as a governor then needed a man with the self will, and proven competency to steer the ship of governance without being anyone’s stooge, and those criteria was met by Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang .
Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang, already having an independent mind of leadership charisma in him, a technocrat of unequal rivalry, stood tall among his unprepared challengers.
Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang, before becoming a governor in 2023 , had a detailed plan of work already on how to bring about rapid transformations accros all fronts and sectors of governance in plateau within his 2 years in office as plateau State governor.
Some of the detailed sectors he came prepared includes;

✅Payment of salaries, pensions / leaves
✅ ICT
✅ Education
✅ Agriculture
✅ Tourism.
✅Environmental waste management.
✅ Security.
✅ Promotion of SME’s
ENERGY
Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang, is already solving the problem of energy in by his determination to build a sustainable Modular refinery in plateau State, taking cognisance of the fact that technology is now at the stage where wastes can be transformed into power, which in other words is termed “WASTE TO POWER” and “WASTE TO WEALTH”.
By this therefore, Governor Caleb mutfwang has demonstrated and enhanced greater boost in local economic and social activities within the rural communities by improving on rural electrification.
Governor Caleb mutfwang has also invested heavily in renewed energy.
With the massive support he has so far given to the Jos electricity Distributor (JED), Governor Caleb mutfwang’s mission here is targeted at raising up several megawatts of electricity, creating at leat 3,000 new businesses, and over 5,000 direct/indirect jobs over the first 2 years of his administration as a governor.
PAYMENT OF SALARIES.
Governor Caleb mutfwang as a selfless leader who believe in the word of “Every labourer deserved his wages, and a first class erudite of the law of International standard and recognition understands the importance of prompt payment of salaries, workers wages, pensions, leave allowances , promotion allowances , and gratuities taking cognisance of such multiplier effects on the economy of plateau state.
It is therefore worthy of note that prompt payment of salaries no doubt, boosts the economy of a state as the money still revolves round from hand to hand. For this reason and more, Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang has raised the bar in payment of salaries as he is determined to continue the payment plateau workers salaries / retirees pensions on the 28th of every month. He has also taken the responsibility of the payment of pension arrears owed the retirees by the successive governments in plateau. Today in plateau state, Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang has therefore become a beautiful bride and a world class brand name on the lips of all plateau sons and daughters at home and in diaspora.
INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT.
Governor Caleb mutfwang immediately he was sworn in as Governor engaged in massive infrastructural revolutional developments in plateau state, both at the rural and urban areas. He is unrelently rebuilding our pride of plateau, Jos to the envy of all states as he has so far built more than 40 roads which includes a standard overhead bridge at abbatoir road in Jos, the likes of masallacin juma’a road, Bukuru road, ungwan rogo, revenue house etc, and many other roads within the capital not been left out too.
In furtherance to this, Governor Caleb mutfwang has established an agency known as “Jos metropolitan Development Development Board (JMDB)” under the leadership of Arc. Hart Bankat whose duty is to ensure very responsive developmental projects with the new Jos master plan in plateau state. Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang is putting up ring roads, connecting various towns and cities within, and around plateau state and to also ensure that our roads are always in good shape, and maintained promptly.
The once stinking jos, has now become one of the cleanest cities in Nigeria today at the emergence of an Caleb mutfwang as plateau State Governor.
Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang is also not relenting to his resolve towards providing various life amenities in plateau to make life easier for its citizens.
TRANSPORTATION.
Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang has successfully revive the Jos railway service , connecting most areas within jos.
This policy will create more than 20,000 new jobs for plateau residents. He also purchase not less than 30 metro buses and 35 sienna for transportation within Jos ,all is to ease the transport sufferings of plateau residents,
TOURISM.
Governor Caleb mutfwang is committed to reviving the tourism sector by establishing a very vibrant and responsive plateau state Tourism project in jos which is being headed by a responsive and experienced plateaunians to operate outside the bereucracy, to allow for efficiency, professionalism, and global standards.
He has also transformed the health sector, education and sports tourism, and developed tourist attraction where investors would be encouraged to build hotels, and vacation centres for tourists and indigenes.
Also Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang has signed an MOU with a strom infrastructure investment and management limited to rehabilitate the HILL STATION HOTEL in Jos ,
This will also attract investors from inside and outside the country.
Finally, Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang is in discussion with the Federal government on the establishment of an International Airport in plateau State, which of course will bring about the dualization of roads to ease traffic congestion for the benefit of the people, creation of more job opportunities, bring about economic gains in plateau state, supporting the business sectors in Aplateau to thrive progressively, and open more doors for investors to massively invest in plateau, taking cognisance of the fact that no serious tourism boost can take place without the existence of at the minimum , a local airport. Not forgetting that technology has moved with such a high speed that it doesn’t take an arm and a leg to build functional airports these days.
Therefore our peace loving , vibrant, and industrous plateaunians, let us all continue to pray for Governor Caleb manaseh mutfwang to succeding ,and sustain giving him that maximum support, being hopeful that the once plateau lost glory will be fully recovered in the end.
