the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Plateau State has urged the citizens to disregard the news of rerun election postponement until further notice being peddled on the social media because of the absence of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on the ballot.
According to Egwurube Michael Otokpa, the commission’s Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity, Plateau State, INEC has concluded all preparations for the conduct of the election tomorrow.
Otokpa also informed the public that “the Nigeria Police, as the lead security agency, has given us assurance that it has made all arrangements to secure the election, along with all the sister security agencies”
