As Muslims across the World celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, Senator Simon Mwadkwon PhD has felicitated with them and urged them to demonstrate greater love, unity and peace.
Senator Mwadkwon in a Congratulatory Message said the celebration is very significant to Muslims as it depicts genuine obedience, sacrifice and solemn prayer to God as exemplified by Abraham (Ibrahim) who displayed willingness without hesitation to sacrifice his Son as directed by God until he was prevented by God through an Angel.
He said the celebration also depict love and urged the Adherents of Islam to share what they have with those who may not have.
He further stressed the need for Muslims to use the period for sober reflection and prayers for the Nation considering the insecurity, economic hardships and other factors bedeviling the Nation.
He prayed for a hitch free celebration.
