In a message on his verified X handle (Abba Kabir Yusuf @Kyusufabba), Gov Yusuf said “This Morning, I led the Kano State Security Council meeting to review the situation in the state”
“The meeting, which had in attendance all the heads of security agencies in Kano, decided to further relax the curfew from 6:00 to 18:00 daily.”
“I commend all the heads of security agencies for their well-coordinated and swift implementation of measures to curtail vices within Kano metropolis.”
“I also wish to commend the good people of Kano for their conduct in this period, and for their support to our efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the state. – AKY”
