His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Sunday, 16 June 2024 observed Eid prayers at the Okene Central Eid ground.
In a message made available to www.pointblank.com.ng, Gov Ododo said “Today, I joined other Muslim brothers and sisters at the Okene Central Eid ground to perform the two raka’ats of Eid prayer in commemoration of Eid-el Mubarak.
“Thereafter, I paid the traditional Sallah homage to the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, HRM, Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje at his palace.
“I used the occasion to call on the people of Kogi State to be resilient and continue to make sacrifices and show compassion to one another in the spirit of the celebration of the festival of sacrifice.
“Eid Mubarak!
