Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang Reduces PLASU School Fees By 50% As Prof Shedrack Gaya Best Takes Over, Assures of Immediate Resumption of Lectures

Following his appointment last as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the Plateau State University, Bokkos week after the removal of Prof Bernard Malau Matur, Prof Shedrack Gaya Best has assumed office on Tuesday, 13th February, 2024

Prof Shedrack Gaya Best was received by the University’s Registrar, Mr Yakubu Ayuba. The Registrar described the Ag. Vice Chancellor as an accomplished Academician and Administrator. He pledges the Staff commitment to support him take the university to higher height

Prof Best used the opportunity to announce the Governor’s approval of 50% reduction in the school fees as a measure to cushion the effect of inflation caused by petroleum subsidy removal on the parents.

The former SGS said his “first assignment is to properly ensure that lectures resume immediately at the University”.
