Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Wase CON, the member representing Wase Federal Constituency, the Deputy Speaker of the 9th National Assembly (2019-2023), and the Chairman of the House Committee on Federal character has joined the Muslim Ummah across Wase Federal Constituency, Plateau State, and Nigeria in celebrating the Eid al-Adha festival.
Rt Hon Wase expressed his heartfelt wishes and prayers for the Muslim community during this auspicious occasion.
“I am delighted to join our dear Muslim brothers and sisters across Wase Federal Constituency, Plateau State, and the entire nation in celebrating the Eid al-Adha festival,” Rt Hon Wase said.
“This sacred event holds a deep significance, reminding us of the profound sacrifice and unwavering faith demonstrated by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). As we commemorate this remarkable occasion, I urge all of us to reflect on the values of devotion, compassion, and the spirit of sharing that are central to the Islamic faith.”
Rt Hon Wase further emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and harmony during this time of celebration.
“I call upon all our people to use this opportunity to promote unity, foster brotherhood, and strengthen the bonds of our community. Let us pray for the continued progress, prosperity, and well-being of our beloved Wase Federal Constituency, Plateau State, and Nigeria as a whole.”
The Rt Hon Wase also took the opportunity to wish all the Muslim Ummah a joyous and blessed Eid al-Adha celebration, expressing his hope that the festival would bring about renewed hope, blessings, and divine guidance for all.
