Mr Vongdip Timven spoke today during the second matriculation ceremony of the government licensed Prestigious College of Health Sciences held at the Useni Memorial College, Dadur Langtang North
The renowned health tutor who is a name to reckon with in the field of health education in the state said “Health is a basic parameter for the assessment of nations development index and for the attainment of quality population. Healthy people are assets; they live longer, they are more productive, and their existence are not associated with misery and liability. Therefore, national development is incomplete without a healthy population, which accounts for national productivity”
He charged the students to read hard and avoid any form of distraction because whenever a health personnel makes a mistake in giving healthcare, the patient pays the supreme prize.
The Provost congratulated the lucky matriculants who despite numerous applications made the admission requirements. He charged them to count themselves lucky and justify the confidence of the institution reposed in them by excelling with flying colours
Collaborating the stance of the Provost, the Oath Commissioner, Barr Domkur Selven Zingman admonished the students to be good ambassadors of the school, Tarokland and Plateau in general.
