TAPYA PRESIDENT ATTENDS GOV MUTFWANG’S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY THANKSGIVING INTERDENOMINATIONAL SERVICE

Comrade Loknan Samson, the President of Tarok Progressives Youth Association (TAPYA), on Sunday, 02 June 2024 attended the one-year anniversary thanksgiving interdenominational service organized by the Plateau State Government to celebrate the landmark of His Excellency Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang’s governance.

Held at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos, Governor Mutfwang used the occasion to thank God Almighty for his political journey that was characterized by a lot of legal tussels and to appreciate God for seeing his government through its first year in office. Gov. Mutfwang reflected with gratitude to Almighty God on the past, present, and future, reiterating his resolve to serve with the fear of God.

Dressed in the immaculate leopard cap, the traditional attire that symbolised his Tarok heritage Comrade Loknan Samson presence brought to prominence the majority stake of the Tarok nation in the scheme of things on the Plateau

Speaking to www.pointblank.com.ng correspondent, Comrade Samson said “behalf of the Tarok Progressives Youth Association, I came alongside some critical stakeholders to join in thanking God and celebrating the strides taken by our Governor, His Excellency Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, in nurturing a state that is not only surviving but thriving in the face of adversity”

Samson cited the progress made by the state government where he touched on the significance of unity and peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic groups within the state, crediting Mutfwang for uniting the State without bias

The President of the Umbrella body of the Tarok Youth Worldwide who cherished the unity he witnessed and the progress celebrated, expressed optimism that, though the journey was far from over, but with unity of purpose, all challenges are surmountable “the road ahead is paved with both opportunities and challenges, but together, as a people united under a shared vision and led by a government that cares for its citizens, the future is promising”

The Thanksgiving Service which brought together the Christendom on the Plateau, did not only celebrate a year of governance; it celebrated the indomitable spirit of the people of Plateau State – a people determined to rise above their challenges and to forge a united front for the common good.
